Hiya James - We're here, we're just not here very often (we have a very small staff, and its a very big show). Questions here do get answered, but it may be awhile before a staffer sees it. If you need an immediate reply to something, you'd do better to email our staff directly. As for why we have them at all - we provide these forums as a place for Origins fans to chat with each other, connect, and make plans for the show. There's other ways to do that too (the Origins livejournal, or our MySpace page), but some people like using forums, and we try to fill that need. We have a whole bunch of Google Groups. There's an announce-only list for announcements. There's discussion lists for Teachers, GMs, people who run LARPs, the Cohort Program, and for Clubs and Orgs.
