Q: Are GMs/games allowed to ban/not allow entrance to a game to a member?

A: GMs may refuse anyone a 'seat' in their game. There are a number of acceptable reasons that a GM might do so--the player might be a known disrupter of games, the player might be drunk, and so forth. There are also a number of unacceptable reasons to refuse a player--race, creed, and so forth. If a GM abuses their ability to refuse players, the GM may be expelled from the con. Final decisions are up to con management. If able, the safest thing for the GM to do is run the situation by con management first.

Q: I would like to volunteer for 32 hours and get my lodging for free. Do I still need to reserve a room at a hotel if you can't accommodate me?

A: As long as you are confirmed as a volunteer prior to May 25th, 2008, hotel spaces are generally available. If all volunteer rooms are completely booked prior to then, information will be posted on this page and a message will go out to the volunteer list saying as much.
