pieces hangs among the best examples of our industry’s visual

waiting for you and your work at the Origins Art Show.
To put your work in front of more people and build solid industry
credentials at the same time, consider submitting an image to go with
one of the Origins event tracks. If your work gets selected, it becomes
the face of that track. It appears on the Origins website, in Origins
brochures, and in both the pre-registration book and the on-site event
catalog. Both books also include your biography and web address, which
give potential customers a chance to see even more of your work contact
you directly for purchases and commissions.

Origins
offers two unique opportunities for artists: submitting work for use in
the Origins pre-registration and on-site books, and taking part in the
annual Origins Art Show.

Origins book artwork
Showcase your work to the gaming world by submitting pieces for the Origins pre-registration and on-site books!
Thousands
of players and professionals in the game industry peruse the pages of
the Origins pre-registration book. Thousands more carry the Origins
on-site book throughout the four-day show and then take it home as a
souvenir of the convention. Put your artwork in front of them all by
submitting pieces for the Origins books!

You retain full control of your image! GAMA use will
include the pre-registration and onsite catalogs, onsite signage, Website art,
Origins advertising campaigns. Artist biographies and contact information will
appear in the pre-registration and onsite books.
Submitting your work for the Origins books
To submit artwork for the Origins books, send an
email to Christine Brucker (marketing@gama.org) with the subject
"Origins 2006 art submission".
In the email, please include the following information and attachments:
* Name of the work
* Original media of the work
* Your name and contact info (including your email address and website)
* Attach an image of the work in 300 dpi, CMYK jpeg or tiff
formats
Extended! The book artwork submission deadline is December 1, 2005.

you have any questions about putting your artwork in the Origins books,
please email Christine at marketing@gama.org and ask. She's glad to
help!
Come to Origins and get extra publicity!
Want
some extra publicity for your work? Make a personal appearance at
Origins! All artists who make plans to attend the show get advance
publicity. It's a great way to promote your artwork!
If your piece is used for an interior
section front, you will receive two badges to Origins (a $120 value). If your
piece is selected for either cover, you will receive a two-panel booth for free
(a $240 value) and two badges.
