All Volunteers (including Veterans and Seniors),I know many of you are chomping at the bit to get all signed up for the convention so let's get that underway!Please email me directly at Volunteers@gama.org with the following information and change the subject line to Volunteer: (Your name):Name:email address:Mobile phone number:User ID on OriginsGames.com: # of hours volunteering (16 or 32):Vouchers or hotel (if you are doing 32 hours):Position choice #1 Position choice #2Position choice #3Notes: Once your email is received, we will assign you to an area and get you in touch with your area supervisor to set up your schedule. We will attempt to match you with one of your preferred positions but cannot guarantee them as some positions fill faster than others. Some of you have requested to work some of your hours pre- and post-show. Remember, this option is only available for 32-hour volunteers and only up to half of their hours. Show hours count as Wednesday through Sunday (Tuesday night for registration). If you are interested in doing pre-show work, please make mention of that in the Notes section. If you are one of those volunteers who doesn't mind working anywhere, please put ANY AREA in as your position choice. (And thank you!) As a reminder, 32-hour volunteers receive their badge and one of these two: vouchers or accommodations. The vouchers package is $60 and is able to be used in the Exhibit Hall, Food Court, Arena District, etc. Hotel accommodations (for non-Senior level volunteers) is maximum of four nights in a quad occupancy room. If you choose accommodations, you will be assigned a hotel room and roommates.
